This set (7 pins) is like new. I only opened it once/twice for inspection after purchasing. It's never been worn outside/displayed on a pin board. It's been stored in an airtight bin inside my closet (no exposure to sunlight).
I collected pins from 2018 to early 2020. Despite the care I took to store them safely, there may be general wear and tear. I believe some microfiber cloth or polish should make them look as good as new.
